Custom Hats

Some legacies are inherited. Others are stitched together, one hat at a time. For me, hats have never simply been accessories. They have always been part of the story.

Growing up, I watched my mother at work, carefully shaping and trimming hats for every kind of occasion. Weekends at home often meant ribbons spread across the table, feathers waiting to find their place, and straw and felt being transformed by her hands into something beautiful and distinctive. I didn’t realize it then, but I was watching a legacy take shape.

My mother learned the art of millinery from her mother, my grandmother who passed down more than just the techniques of hat making. She passed down a love for craftsmanship, an eye for beauty and the belief that the right hat can change the way you feel when you walk into a room.

Along my journey, I had the privilege of taking a hat making course with Mr. Heller. What began as a course quickly became a passion, as I fell in love with the artistry, creativity and process of bringing each hat to life.

Today, I am honored to carry this tradition forward as a third-generation hat shaper. What began with my grandmother, was nurtured by my mother and now continues through my hands. Three generations. One enduring passion. Where tradition meets creativity and every hat tells a story.
